What is the HBCU Relays Experience?

The HBCU Relays Experience is a premier track and field event showcasing the talent of athletes from high schools, HBCUs, and other collegiate institutions in a vibrant celebration of culture and community. In its inaugural year, we are hosting the High School Preview, with collegiate competition set to debut in 2026

When will the event be held?

The event will be held on April 11, 2025.

Where will the event take place?

Friday, April 11th at the Ansin Sports Complex in Miramar, FL. You can driving directions here.

What time does the event start?

Gates open at 9:00am. Field events begin at 10:00am with running events at 1pm. The event is on a rolling schedule and may begin before or after the times listed.

What happens if it rains?

This is a rain or shine event.

Who can participate in the events?

Team-affiliated and unattached student-athletes from high schools are eligible to compete.

How can I register my team or athlete to participate in the event?

Where can I buy tickets?

Tickets are available here. Starting at just $8.

Can I purchase tickets on site?

Tickets will be sold electronically on site and subject to the same service fees.

Do kids get in free?

Kids 3 and under receive free entry into the event.
