About the HBCU Relays Experience

The HBCU Relays Experience is a groundbreaking track & field event designed to welcome and uplift student-athletes from all backgrounds. In its inaugural year in 2025, this one-day competition will shine a spotlight on high school athletes, offering an open and supportive platform for rising talent to showcase their skills, gain exposure, and build meaningful connections with coaches and peers. With a mission to expand opportunities for underrepresented athletes, the HBCU Relays Experience fosters an environment where all student-athletes—regardless of background or resources—can compete at a high level, free from the restrictive qualification barriers of most elite events.

More than just a competition, this event is a vibrant celebration of the legacy, excellence, and culture of Historically Black Colleges and Universities. It serves as a gathering place for young athletes to grow both on and off the track, creating a community where talent is nurtured and inclusion is the standard. Mark your calendar for April 10-11, 2026, for the full HBCU Relays Experience featuring high school, HBCU, and collegiate athletes from across the country!
